  1. All faculty, staff, students, (full or part-time), employees of private contractors or other government agencies working or doing business on campus and operating a vehicle on university property, regularly or occasionally, are required to obtain a parking permit. Vehicles can register at the Business Office during regular business hours.
  2. The registration of all vehicles parked on campus is required. However, registration is no guarantee of a parking space near the place where one works, resides or attend classes. The responsibility of finding a legal parking space rests with the vehicle operator, and lack of space is not a valid excuse for violations of any parking regulations.
  3. A permit must be obtained for each academic year. Permits are valid from August 31st of an academic year until August 31st of the next year. Strict enforcement begins September 1st of each year.
  4. The permit holder is held responsible for all violations. A citation is not excused on the plea that another person was driving the vehicle.

A University parking permit must be properly displayed on the front windshield within two inches of the State Registration sticker. Taping or clipping the permit is not considered permanent placement (except visitor and temporary permits). A permit is not transferrable from the vehicle for which it is issued.
