Mississippi Valley State University is pleased to announce Tiffany Juarez as the new Director of Developmental Studies. With over 18 years of experience in education, Tiffany Juarez brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this pivotal role.
A proud graduate of Jackson State University, Juarez earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, followed by a Master of Arts in English from the same institution. Currently, she is advancing her academic pursuits as a PhD candidate at Mississippi State University, where her research and contributions continue to enrich the field of education.
Throughout her career, Juarez has demonstrated a commitment to educational excellence. Her extensive experience spans K-12 education, junior college instruction, and higher education administration, giving her a holistic understanding of the academic journey. Notably, she has served on the Mississippi Language Arts Curriculum Alignment committee, where her work in revising measurable outcomes has positively impacted student achievement across the state.
As the new Director of Developmental Studies, Juarez is committed to fostering academic support and student success at The Valley. Her vision includes creating an environment prioritizing growth, innovation, and learning, ensuring the institution continues its tradition of excellence in education.
