Praxis (ETS)
Test Postponements and Rescheduling:
Due to health and safety concerns for test takers and test center staff stemming from the coronavirus outbreak, the Praxis® program will offer the following options to all test takers:
- Waived fees for test rescheduling, if necessary
- Extended submission dates for the Spring 2020 administration for the PPAT® assessment and PASL, if cooperating K–12 schools are closed for an extended time
ETS is working to make the rescheduling process as smooth as possible for test takers. Test centers do not need to be closed for test takers to reschedule their tests.
Please note that turnaround time for score reports and service levels in our call center may be impacted. If impacts occur, we will post a notification.
Test Center Closures:
If test centers in specific cities or states close, information about when they will reopen and how candidates can reschedule their test session will be posted.
Please note that turnaround time for score reports and service levels in our call center may be impacted. If impacts occur, we will post a notification of the impact here.
All Prometric® test centers will be closed until April 16. If you are scheduled to test at a Prometric test center, visit the Prometric test center closures page for updates.
Non-Prometric managed test centers are determining their availability on a case-by-case basis. These closures may affect your ability to test at your preferred location. Changes are happening almost daily. Please continue to check this page for additional updates. To check on your specific test center availability, use our Praxis test center closures search tool.
Note: You will be contacted directly by ETS if your test center is closed or your registration is impacted for any reason.

SAT-March and May Administrations (College Board)
In response to the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), College Board is canceling the May 2, 2020 SAT and SAT Subject Test administration. Makeup exams for the March 14 administration (scheduled for March 28) are also canceled.
Students who already registered for May, whose March test centers were closed, or who do not receive March scores because of any irregularities will receive refunds.
In the coming days, College Board will share additional information and details directly with registered students and test centers.
Future Testing Opportunities:
College Board will provide future additional SAT testing opportunities for students as soon as possible in place of canceled administrations. We’ll be as flexible as possible to give students the best chance to show their skills and stay on the path to college.
We have not yet canceled the June 6, 2020 SAT and SAT Subject Test administration and will continue to assess its status, with the health and safety of students and educators as our top priority. We are also exploring the possibility of adding an international SAT administration later this school year.
The March 25 SAT School Day administration is postponed. College Board is working with local partners, and we’ll soon share further information about weekday school-based SAT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9 administrations scheduled for this spring.

Candidates can reschedule their exams for appointments starting April 16 and beyond if conditions allow.
