Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) proudly welcomed over 336 students and their sponsors from 21 schools across the state for the Fall Regional State Leadership Conference of the Educator Rising Program on October 22, 2024. This is the second consecutive year that MVSU has been chosen to host this significant event, which seeks to inspire the next generation of educators in Mississippi.

MVSU Hosts Inaugural High School Sing Festival

Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) made a remarkable contribution to the region's music education by successfully launching its inaugural High School Sing Festival on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

 The event, organized by MVSU's Department of Choral Activities, brought together 108 talented high school students from across the region, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of choral music and collaboration.
