Scholarships are administered on a yearly basis. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.00. Transfer students from junior/community colleges with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 who are receiving the scholarship will also be eligible to receive and annual $150.00 book allowance. Transfer students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.00 to continue to retain the $150 book allowance. The scholarship is awarded to first-time entering transfer students. Students previously enrolled at MVSU are not eligible for an academic scholarship regardless of the cumulative GPA. An application for an academic scholarship must be on file. The award is automatically renewed as long as the above requirements have been met during the previous two regular semesters.
