Army Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Scholarships

Two (2)-year, three (3)-year and four (4)-year merit scholarships are available to student who have a 19 or above ACT score or 800 or above SAT score, and who are strongly motivated toward a career in the United States Army. Each scholarship pays up to $8,000 or a year in tuition and related fees; $450 per year for books, supplies, and equipment; and $150 per month subsistence allowance. Qualified and interested freshman and sophomore students enrolled at the University may make application to the Department of Military Science for the two (2)-year and (3)-year scholarships. Qualified high school seniors who desire to apply for the four (4)-year scholarships should contact high school counselors, Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) instructors, or the Department of Military Science at Mississippi Valley State University to obtain an application.
