1. Scholarship recipients must complete and return the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When the Student Aid Report (SAR) is processed, an electronic copy is sent to all schools listed on the SAR. Scholarships will not be awarded without a SAR on file.

2. Scholarships are awarded on an annual basis on the availability of funds. Awards must be obtained during the falling semester. Failure to claim the award during the fall semester will invalidate the scholarship.

3. Academic scholarships are awarded contingent upon the required cumulative GPA, the enrollment and completion of a minimum of 15 semester hours (excluding basic courses), completion of two consecutive semesters, and completion of required semester hours for the proceeding classification at the end of two consecutive semesters. Dismissal from the University for any reason will invalidate the scholarship.

4. A minimum high school GPA of 3.00 and an ACT composite score of 20 (22 for out-of-state students) or SAT composite of 930 (1020 for out-of-state applicants) or above will be required for receiving an academic scholarship which covers tuition and required fees, room and board. Students must maintain a grade point average of 3.00 to continue to receive the scholarship.

5. Students with a 3.00 GPA and an ACT composite score of 21 (23 for out-of-state students) or SAT composite of 970 (1060 for out-of-state applicants) or above are eligible to receive the scholarship plus an annual $150 book allowance for the freshmen year. Students must maintain a grade point average of 3.5 beyond the freshmen year to continue to receive the $150 book allowance per year. The annual book allowance will be awarded an increment of $75 at the beginning of the fall and spring semester.

6. Students with a 3.00 GPA and an ACT composite score of 22 (24 for out-of-state students) or SAT composite score of 1030 (1090 for out-of-state applicants) or above, are eligible to receive he scholarship, the book allowance, and a $50 stipend. Students must maintain the GPA of 3.00 to continue to receive the stipend.

7. A high School GPA of 3.00 and an ACT composite score of 24 (26 for out-of-state students) or SAT score of 1090 (1170 for out-of-state applicants) or above are required to receive the scholarship, which consists of tuition and required fees, room and board, an annual stipend of $1200, and the annual $150 book allowance. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.20 to continue to receive the scholarship. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.50 beyond the freshman year to continue to receive the $150 book allowance per year. The book allowance will be awarded in increments of $75 per semester.
