ITTA BENA, Miss.— MVSU Chief of Staff & Legislative Liaison La Shon Brooks has been selected among eight leaders from across the state to participate in the Delta Regional Authority’s (DRA) Delta Leadership Institute (DLI).

ITTA BENA, Miss.—Mississippi Valley State University has been designated as a champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) 2017. 

Valley will be joining a growing global effort among businesses, government agencies, colleges and universities, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals to promote online safety awareness.

ITTA BENA— Mississippi Valley State University is excited to continue its partnership with Khafre, Inc., da’ House of Khafre, and the Mississippi Humanities Council to host the sixth annual “Cotton Kingdom/Sweat Equity Symposium and Cotton Pickers’ Ball.”

Since its inception, the symposium has served as America’s premier interdisciplinary conference on the Cotton Kingdom, exploring sharecropping, tenant farming and the significance of cotton to the successes of both American and European economies.

JACKSON, Miss.— Mississippi Valley State University’s Mock Trial Team recently participated in the Jackson Joust Mock Trial Tournament, bringing home one award.

MVSU competed in two-rounds during the one-day tournament, hosted Sept. 30 at Millsaps College in Jackson.
