Note: For applicants who will be graduating for this Spring 2024 semester, the "Application to Graduate" should be submitted to the MBA Coordinator by the end of March 2024!
Degree Requirements
All graduate students who are considered candidates to graduate from the MBA program must:

Have fulfilled all university requirements at Mississippi Valley State University

Have completed the required number of program hours (30 hours) comprised of the
18-hours of required core courses and 12-hours of graduate electives

Have maintained a grade point average (GPA) of a 3.0 or higher

All applicants who will be graduating must submit a TYPED and completely filled in “Application To Graduate” (See the link below to the application to graduate). In addition, there is a $25 application processing fee that must be paid to the MVSU Cashiers Office. This fee can be paid over the phone via credit card. The application, also, must be stamped by the MVSU Cashiers Office to indicate that the processing fee has been paid and satisfied by the graduate student. The stamping process can, also, be accommodated by submitting the application via email to the MVSU Cashiers Office and the application, once stamped, will be returned to the graduate student via email. All finalized and completed applications should be submitted to the student’s graduate advisor (MBA Coordinator) in person or via scanned email copy.
Note: Letter grades of “D” or “F” or “I” received in MBA core courses are not acceptable for meeting program graduation requirements.
