Account Balances, Returns, and Payments

In some cases, if a refund is issued and subsequently a balance is created on the student's account, it is the student's responsibility to return the funds to the University or pay the balance in accordance with the University's billing and payment policies, including any applicable penalties and late fees.

Student Financial Obligations Agreement

According to the Institution of Higher Learning Policies and Procedures, the student should understand and agree that if the student fails to pay their student account bill or any fees due to the University by the scheduled due date, the University will place a financial hold on the student's account, in which prevents the student from registering for future semesters, requesting transcripts, or receiving your diploma

Degree candidates with financial obligations to the University must pay or satisfy such debts at least one week before the close of any term. If any such debts have not been paid or satisfied upon terms acceptable to the University before the close of any term, the candidate's diploma may be withheld from graduation ceremonies, or if the degree is granted without knowledge of such delinquency, the diploma and transcript will be held until the financial obligation has been satisfied.
