- Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S.
- Must be first generation college, or low income
- Must be at least 13 to 19 years of age
- Must complete the eighth grade in good academic standing with potential to enter into college
- Must be a student at one of the following target high schools:
- Amanda Elzy High
- Greenwood High
- Leflore County High
- Ruleville Central High
- Humphreys County High
- Gentry High
- Holmes Central High
