“The career fair is a great opportunity for employers to come to campus and meet our students face-to-face and share information and opportunities available with their company,” Bryant said.
Employer participation in this semester’s career fair consists of companies and school districts who will be recruiting for full-time, part-time, and paid internship opportunities.
A Thurgood Marshall College Fund recruiter will provide students with important information on scholarships and the award-winning Student Leadership Institiute.
Also, our local recruiters, such as Milwaukee Tool, Hope Credit Union, and Delta Health Alliance will be seeking summer interns.
To ensure students receive the most that this experience can offer, professional dress is recommended.
Students are also encouraged to bring plenty of resumes.
Andy Lo will be taking professional headshots that are free for students. Also, career professionals will be conducting mock interviews.
"This is a valuable opportunity that every student should take advantage of, to help learn how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve communication skills and work on areas of improvement, Bryant said."
