Are you ready to enhance your students reading ability? Come and be a part of a workshop designed to give you an in-depth understanding of reading and the five components it entails. This workshop will focus on: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. Also, hands-on activities as well as strategies to differentiate instruction for each component will be provided. Come and be part of a fun and exciting learning experience.
The "Five Components of Reading" scheduled for October 20th has been rescheduled for November 3rd from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the O.P. Lowe Education Building Room 180A.

ITTA BENA, Miss.— Life can change in an instant and for Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) graduate Oriana Bledsoe that change has manifested into a dream come true.
In November 2017, Bledsoe became the first MVSU student to be selected to participate in the City of Jackson’s Wastewater Treatment Facility (CJTWF) internship program through its environmental partnership with Veolia Water North America – South, LLC.
