WIOA is a program designed to help students finish school and find employment. Mississippi Valley State University is a training provider under WIOA and collaborates with the Mississippi WIN Job Center to assist students in applying for funding.
Program Requirements:
- Must be fully admitted to MVSU
- Approaching or in the last three semesters of school
- Must have at least a 2.0 GPA
- Must be a resident of Mississippi
- Must be working on first Bachelor’s Degree
Special Notes
- Students receiving full Pell Grant are not eligible for WIA funds
- Students residing outside of the Delta should contact their area WIN Job Center for funding availability
- WIA pays up to $2,000.00 for tuition and books
