MASTER OF ARTS IN CONVERGENT MEDIA

The department of Mass Communication at Mississippi Valley State University offers a master of Arts degree in Convergent Media that will give students the necessary skills and theoretical knowledge for advanced careers in communication. The degree program is designed to focus on developing trends in communication.  Students will be guided and mentored with state-of-the-art equipment in our radio station, television studio and journalism lab by a diverse and skilled faculty to reach their highest potential. The degree program requires at least a 2.75 GPA on a scale of 4 and no GRE.  It also requires 36 hours of classwork over four semesters.  All Master’s students need to maintain at least a 3.00 GPA to stay in the program.
